Job Title: Deputy Director, WholeYouNYC SCN Care DeliveryJob Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Deputy Director to assist with the programmatic management of the WholeYouNYC SCN's care delivery operations. The successful candidate will have a strong background in public health, program management, and social care network operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate the development and maintenance of robust program management infrastructure for the various teams and partners coordinating social care delivery within the SCN's region.
  • Serve as the point person between the program and operational departments, including purchasing, procurement, facilities, compliance, IT, and communications.
  • Prepare and monitor responsible program budgets, including forecasting, cost allocation, expense monitoring, and budget to actual tracking.
  • Lead and monitor procurement, purchasing, and contracting requests for the program, ensuring compliance with NY State DOH, PHS Legal, Compliance, and Procurement policies and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with Quality Improvement and Evaluation (QI&E) to ensure high-quality data collection, evaluation, operational, and program reporting to internal and external network stakeholders.
  • Support the assessment of program staff performance and goal setting, and provide input into coaching and professional development.
  • Assist with the onboarding of new staff and offboarding of departing staff, serving as the key programmatic liaison to IT, HR, and other operational areas.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, ideally with coursework in community health.
  • At least 2 years of program management experience working to implement and/or oversee public health programs, with experience with Medicaid preferred.
  • Foundational knowledge of the social drivers of health (SDoH) and their impact on health outcomes.
  • Experience creating and managing budgets.
  • Self-starter who is organized, detail-oriented, and able to work autonomously.
  • Excellent communication skills, including listening, written, oral, and public speaking.
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office Suite, with good data analytical skills.
