Job Title: Deputy Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Deputy Director to join our team at the Department of Design and Construction, Division of Infrastructure. The selected candidate will be responsible for supervising the Bid Process team and performing bid analysis tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform bid data modeling and utilize business analytics software to generate dashboards for data visualization.
  • Resolve bidder errors and generate reports such as the Memorandum of Bids, Low Bid Share Breakdown, and Error Reports.
  • Answer time-sensitive inquiries relating to Infrastructure bids and respond to budget inquiries.
  • Determine potential enhancements to bid analysis processes and review bid analysis program application business rules.
  • Review all program functionality processes, review testing objectives, ensure data integrity of metrics, and provide support testing for application.
Requirements:
  • A master's degree from an accredited college in economics, finance, accounting, business or public administration, human resources management, management science, operations research, organizational behavior, industrial psychology, statistics, personnel administration, labor relations, psychology, sociology, human resources development, political science, urban studies or a closely related field.
  • Two years of satisfactory full-time professional experience in one or a combination of the following: budget administration, accounting, economic or financial administration, or fiscal or economic research; management or methods analysis, operations research, organizational research or program evaluation; personnel or public administration, recruitment, position classification, personnel relations, employee benefits, staff development, employment program planning/administration, labor market research, economic planning, social services program planning/evaluation, or fiscal management.
