Network Infrastructure Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Administrator II to join our IT team at Adams County CO. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and supporting network infrastructure equipment with a moderate level of supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform installation, configuration, upgrades, and maintenance of network infrastructure equipment, including routers, switches, and wireless access points.
  • Troubleshoot mid-level LAN/WAN network problems to ensure maximum network reliability and stability.
  • Assist with new network and VoIP deployment projects, as well as installation, configuration, and management of wireless access points and networks.
  • Escalate network-related issues from Tier-1 support.
Requirements
  • Minimum of three years of progressive experience in Cisco routing and switching in a medium to large network environment.
  • Prior experience with Cisco controller-based wireless networking.
  • Associate degree in Networking, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent level of job experience and/or training.
  • Possession of Cisco CCNA Route/Switch certification or ability to obtain within six months of hire.
