Firearm Industry Sales Director

Desktop Metal, a pioneer in additive manufacturing technologies, is seeking an experienced sales professional to lead our efforts in the firearm industry. As a Sales Manager, Firearms, you will be responsible for driving business growth and exceeding quarterly sales targets for production metal additive printers.
Job Overview
We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus benefits and opportunities for career advancement. Our team is passionate about innovation and collaboration, and we're looking for someone who shares these values.
Key Responsibilities
- Pursue and originate relationships with key decision-makers within firearm OEMs and supporting organizations
- Develop and execute a tailored strategy to enhance adoption and deploy a commercial program in the firearms sector
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather market insights, customer feedback, and emerging business prospects within the firearm industry
- Sell Desktop Metal products and services to customers, negotiating pricing, delivery, and related matters to achieve optimal profitability
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in B2B capital equipment sales, preferably in the medical industry, with a strong track record of success at C-Level sales and financial value selling
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with a proven ability to develop long-term customer relationships and drive business goals
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on results-oriented sales performance
