POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to enhance our operations by delivering exceptional technical assistance to our retail outlets across North America. Your primary responsibilities will include the configuration, upkeep, and troubleshooting of various hardware and software systems, alongside managing the network infrastructure utilized in our retail environments.

To excel in this position, candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience. A minimum of three years in IT support, administration, or engineering is required. Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems, Apple IOS, Intune, as well as standard office applications and cloud services is essential. Strong problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and a customer-centric approach are critical for success.

The ideal candidate will also demonstrate robust project management capabilities, with a proven track record of delivering projects successfully within stipulated timelines and budgets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Address technical inquiries from store management and associates through various communication channels.
  • Identify and resolve hardware and software challenges occurring in retail settings.
  • Provide support and troubleshooting for network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
  • Implement and uphold IT policies and procedures, encompassing password management, data protection, and user access control.
  • Maintain documentation of IT inventory, assets, and records as required.
  • Manage individual incidents assigned to our queue to ensure effective resolution.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Technical certifications are advantageous.
  • Proficient troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
  • At least 3 years of experience in IT-related roles.
  • Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems, Apple IOS, Intune.
