About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer Energy to join our Nuclear Energy Team at AtkinsRéalis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for initiating and developing mechanical equipment designs, utilizing computer-assisted engineering and design software to perform assignments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop mechanical systems from concept through to commissioning and testing
  • Apply intensive and diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices in broad areas of assignments
  • Make decisions independently on complex engineered systems, commensurate with experience and seniority
  • Perform a variety of engineering calculations using traditional engineering methods to document compliance with project and code requirements
  • Generate and be fully conversant with drawings, layout drawings, arrangement, assembly and detail drawings, specifications and data sheets

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree required in Mechanical engineering or related technical degree or equivalent
