Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our innovative team at Westinghouse Electric Company, LLC. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a critical role in the design, analysis, and evaluation of systems using engineering software.

Responsibilities:
  • Work with a multi-discipline team of engineers to design, analyze, and evaluate systems.
  • Apply engineering principles and codes & standards to ensure safe and efficient energy solutions.
  • Resolve technical issues for operating nuclear power plants and other nuclear projects.
  • Develop calculations and reports to document design and analysis results.
  • Interface with engineers in other disciplines to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Participate in project teams and customer meetings to present technical materials.
  • Perform work within established scope, budgetary, and schedule requirements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 0-2 years of engineering experience.
  • Power industry experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and ASME Section III criteria.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work in an international team environment.
  • Ability to relocate for short-term and long-term assignments.
