Mechanical Design Engineer

Columbia Energy and Environmental Services is a leading provider of engineering services, offering a range of expertise including design, fabrication, and testing. We are currently seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering design, with experience in preparing design deliverables and resolving technical review comments. They will also have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and developing mechanical systems for a range of applications
  • Conducting design analysis to established codes and standards
  • Working with designers to produce detail design drawings
  • Generating test plans and procedures
  • Maintaining configuration and control of baseline drawings and documents

Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university, and 5-10 years of experience in mechanical engineering design. A PE license and experience in the nuclear industry are also highly desirable.
