Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at South Peninsula Hospital in Homer, Alaska.
About the Role:The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality patient care in our 9-bed Emergency Department, utilizing the Nursing Process and adhering to the standards of the Alaska State Board of Nursing and the American Nurses Association.
Responsibilities:- Deliver direct patient care to patients of all ages, including neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric.
- Assess, treat, and care for patients, utilizing the nursing process and following the Nurse Practice Act.
- Coordinate patient care activities with other healthcare team members in a collegial relationship.
- Direct and coordinate care given by Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, Nurse Graduate preceptees, and Nursing students.
- Graduate of an accredited/approved School of Nursing.
- One year Registered Nurse experience in an Emergency Department setting, with 3 years preferred.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work effectively with a variety of healthcare team members.
