Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team at South Peninsula Hospital.
About the Role:The Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and critical thinking skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality patient care, adhering to established standards and practices.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Assess patient needs and develop strategies to promote optimal patient outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Alaska.
- Minimum of one year of experience in the ICU specialty.
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS.
- TNCC certification within 6 months of hire.
