About this role:

We are seeking a talented Branch Manager to join our team at Wells Fargo. As a Branch Manager, you will be responsible for leading, managing, and developing a diverse team of direct and indirect reports, creating a culture that fosters engagement and generates commitment and accountability to business outcomes.

Our ideal candidate will have 4+ years of banking, financial services, or Branch Network experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education. They will also have 2+ years of leadership experience, with a proven track record of coaching, developing, and building high-performing teams.

The successful candidate will be able to lead a team to influence, educate, and connect customers to technology and share the value of digital banking. They will also have knowledge and understanding of banking industry laws and regulations, compliance controls, risk management, and loss prevention.

Key responsibilities:

  • Coach, develop, and build a high-performing team to execute on business strategies, achieve results, and drive growth of the business.
  • Resolve low to moderately complex issues regarding the customer and employee experience, risk, and growth of the team and the business to meet Branch Network business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for making banking easier for customers through education and demonstration of available digital options to support adoption and customer convenience.
  • Lead the branch while engaging stakeholders, peers, and internal partners in collaborating and building strong partnerships to deliver a customer-centric experience.
  • Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of banking, financial services, or Branch Network experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
  • 2+ years of leadership experience.
  • Ability to work a schedule that may include most Saturdays.
  • Ability to travel in assigned geography up to 50% of the time during the first 6 months, depending on location.
  • This position requires SAFE registration at the time of employment.
