Clinical Front Desk Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Front Desk Receptionist to join our team at PRIME Occupational Medicine. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our clients and patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide information, services, and assistance to clients and patients at PRIME on-site events and various PRIME Clinics.
- Maintain medical supplies inventory and perform preventive maintenance to keep medical equipment operating, including sterilization of medical instruments.
- Verify patient information, medical histories by interviewing patients, documenting medical history, and confirming purpose of visit.
- Prepare patients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests; drug & alcohol screening, audiograms, EKG's, pulmonary function test, respirator fit test; and reporting patient history summary.
- Save doctors' time by helping with office procedures.
- Assist in injury care.
- Perform phlebotomy service and give injections.
- Secure patient information and maintain patient confidence by completing and safeguarding medical records; completing diagnostic coding and procedure coding; and keeping patient information confidential.
- Update and file medical records according to HIPPA, OSHA, PRIME's State and Federal policies, procedures and regulations.
- Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
- Keep supplies ready by inventorying stock, placing orders, and verifying receipt.
- Keep equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading professional publications.
- Serve and protect the practice by adhering to professional standards; facility policies and procedures; and federal, state, and local requirements.
- Enhance practice reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Perform Clinic Receptionist duties.
- Assist clients and patients with completing the necessary forms and documentation.
- Maintain and enter electronic medical records and files.
- Assist with admissions and checkout as per protocol.
- Must have the ability to take on call on a rotating basis and provide services to surrounding PRIME locations and on-site.
- May be required to work overtime, weekends and holidays.
- Must have dependable transportation.

- Must be a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) or equivalent.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of working experience as a Medical Assistant required.
Sitting or standing for prolonged periods of time, lift, carry push, pull or otherwise move objects up to 50 pounds. Repetitive motion. Extensive use of computers, copy machines and keyboards. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading. Work is performed in a medical clinic setting and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Must have the ability to lift and small carry parcels, packages and other items, to walk short distances, and drive a vehicle to deliver and pick up materials.
