Job Summary:

Behavioral Health Services of Virginia is seeking a dedicated and passionate Mental Health Specialist to work in Intensive In-Home Services. In this role, you will utilize your skills to assist clients in developing acceptable habits and attitudes, managing behaviors, and meeting the goals of their Individualized Service Plan.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans with measurable goals and objectives
Provide individual psycho-educational support for clients
Coordinate and prepare all required documentation in a timely and accurate manner
Participate in weekly clinical supervision of client progress
Develop community resources to support individuals in attaining services such as housing, mental health care, and medical resources

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a human services field or a Bachelor's in a non-related field with 15 credit hours in a human service field
QMHP-C registration
Minimum of 1 year of experience working with clients with mental health conditions
Availability to work weekday evenings and weekends

Benefits:

Full benefits after 30 days of employment and an average of 30 hours per week
