Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Outpatient Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Ellie Mental Health of Richmond, Houston, TX. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will provide high-quality mental health services to clients in a supportive and non-judgmental environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate mental health diagnoses, create, and implement treatment plans, and complete ongoing documentation in accordance with company policies.
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of providing quality mental health care.
  • Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed their goals.
  • Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session, adhering to company guidelines and protocols.
  • Maintain a caseload of a minimum of 25 client visits per week for Full-Time status clinicians.
  • Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed.
  • Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and training offered.
Requirements
  • A master's degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university, with licensure in the designated field.
  • Required experience with completing DAs, treatment plans, clinical case notes, and progress notes.
  • Experience working with children, adolescents, and adults.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients.
  • Ability to complete and submit documentation of services and other documents in a timely manner.
  • Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base.
  • Proficient in the use of computer systems, Office 365, and Electronic Health Record systems.
  • Pass a background check.
Preferred Qualifications
  • A fully licensed mental health professional (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) with a valid license in the state of Texas.
  • Experience with individuals, couples, children, and families.
  • A general knowledge of therapy services, community resources, insurance billing, and previous experience with mental health documentation.
