Position Overview:

We are in search of a proactive and skilled Service Account Manager to enhance our Service team. The successful candidate will possess a solid background in sales, particularly within the Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC, or Data Center sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Identify and cultivate new product leads and business opportunities that contribute to revenue growth.
  2. Engage with clients to discuss specific projects, objectives, and deliverables.
  3. Draft detailed estimates for clients, encompassing labor, materials, equipment, subcontracting, and other costs.
  4. Negotiate contract terms and agreements effectively.
  5. Establish connections through various channels, including online platforms, phone, email, and in-person interactions with IT and facility management personnel in both governmental and commercial sectors.
  6. Maintain an in-depth understanding of trends and technologies in the mission-critical power and cooling industry.
  7. Develop and implement innovative strategies, programs, and tools that align with clients' strategic goals.
  8. Oversee the maintenance of all sales demonstration tools and applications.
  9. Expand sales within targeted accounts and leverage existing client relationships.
  10. Respond to inbound inquiries and convert them into sales opportunities.
  11. Conduct follow-up communications with current clients via phone and email to enhance sales through cross-selling and upselling.
  12. Grow and maintain the company’s prospect database.
  13. Meet with technicians on-site to clarify the scope of work as necessary.
  14. Uphold a high standard of professionalism in interactions with clients, vendors, and colleagues, fostering positive working relationships.
  15. Travel throughout the service area while adhering to all local regulations.
  16. Operate vehicles and equipment safely, following safety protocols and reporting any hazards to maintain a secure working environment.
  17. Review completed work to ensure accurate billing.

Qualifications:

  1. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience.
  2. 3-5 years of experience in outside sales within the Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC, or Data Center industries.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Familiarity with critical power and cooling systems in data centers.
  2. 3-5 years of experience collaborating with IT companies, colocation providers, and end-users managing data center infrastructure.

Compensation and Benefits:

Compu Dynamics offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $90,000 USD, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, a 401k plan with a dollar-for-dollar company match up to 4%, various voluntary benefits, employer-paid life insurance, seven holidays, paid parental leave, volunteer time off, and up to four weeks of paid time off after 60 days, plus a day off for your birthday.
