Overview: The Project Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the effective execution of projects within the Chief Data Office. This position entails the formulation and upkeep of project timelines, as well as the management of challenges, risks, and modifications to project scope to guarantee timely and successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete ownership of the project life cycle: successful delivery encompasses comprehensive implementation from initial analysis to final deployment across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Develop and sustain project plans that outline timelines and resource allocation.
  • Establish and consistently manage expectations and deliverables with team members and stakeholders.
  • Provide detailed reporting on project success metrics, including results, testing, and deployment management activities.
  • Communicate project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues effectively to key stakeholders and leadership.
  • Promote the Agile methodology by guiding the team through Agile processes.
  • Oversee daily project activities and resource management, facilitating team meetings and Agile ceremonies, and assisting in defining and documenting Features, Epics, and user stories in collaboration with Technical Subject Matter Experts.
  • Exhibit a functional understanding of how solutions will meet client objectives while aligning with industry best practices.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and suppliers as necessary.
  • Engage in creative and analytical problem-solving within a collaborative environment, demonstrating innovation and excellence.
  • Analyze business requirements as provided by the Product Owner.
  • Prepare functional specifications based on Business Requirement Documents (BRD).
  • Clearly articulate acceptance criteria for each user story, ensuring endorsement by the business/Product Owner.

Preferred Qualifications: PMP, CSM, or other relevant Project Management and Agile certifications are advantageous. Experience in managing data-centric projects is also a plus.
