Job Summary:


The Test Equipment Engineering (TEE) team encompasses all engineering disciplines responsible for the design and evaluation of systems associated with Raytheon products.

Our engineers manage every aspect of the development lifecycle for testing, which includes:

requirements for testing, design of test systems, flight simulations, hardware-in-the-loop, computer-in-the-loop, advanced engineering prototyping technologies, flight operations for both manned and unmanned vehicles, environmental assessments, and management of engineering laboratories.

We engage hands-on with cutting-edge technology and tools, integrating state-of-the-art testing solutions with the most advanced engineering systems globally.


As a member of the Test Environment Support Administration (TESA) team, you will work with both innovative technologies and established systems to support various products and programs across Raytheon.

Your responsibilities will include providing integration for Test Equipment (TE), security consultation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and ensuring compliance, all aimed at preserving the integrity and availability of our testing systems.


Key Responsibilities:
• Offer guidance on Cybersecurity compliance to engineering teams involved in the production and procurement of TE.

• Support Flight Test capabilities and processes for Raytheon Missile Systems.

• Develop Cybersecurity-compliant TE across various operating systems (Linux, IOS, Windows).

• Install, administer, maintain, and troubleshoot both commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) and custom applications on diverse operating systems.


• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Computing Systems within Computer in the Loop (CIL), Software Evaluation Stations (SWES), and Common Hardware in the Loop (CHIL).


• Install and troubleshoot custom software supporting CIL, SWES, and CHIL.

• Diagnose production and development TE to ensure connectivity, functionality, compliance, and testing integrity.

• Collaborate with Digital Technologies to integrate TE into controlled networks or enterprises.

• Work with Cybersecurity to ensure TE compliance using tools such as Nessus, Splunk, Ivanti, and other locally procured software.

• Partner with engineering teams to ensure modifications do not compromise the availability or integrity of TE.

• Support all necessary reviews prior to implementing any changes to TE.

Essential Qualifications:


• A Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) is typically required, along with two (2) years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field.

• Experience in systems administration for Linux, Networking, and/or Windows (in desktop or server environments).

• Proficiency in user account management, software installation, and/or technical customer support.

• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance is mandatory. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:
• DoD m IAT II certified credentials (Sec+, CySA+, etc.).

• Experience in a DoD Special Access Programs environment.

• Strong knowledge and experience with Linux operating systems in both desktop and server environments.

• Exceptional troubleshooting skills for Microsoft Windows and Linux systems to restore operational status swiftly.

• Excellent customer service and training abilities, including strong oral and technical written communication skills, along with independent problem-solving capabilities for hardware/software issues.
