Position Overview
We are currently in search of a Systems Engineer who will enhance our scientific and engineering efforts. The Systems Engineer will be responsible for various elements of the systems engineering discipline, including requirements breakdown into software and hardware functions, as well as system integration and testing activities to ensure the fulfillment of system requirements. This role will involve collaboration with development teams, production teams, program leadership, and customers to address technical considerations and resolve issues related to our program capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute systems engineering tasks, including requirements analysis and integration testing.
  • Develop comprehensive test plans and procedures, ensuring all necessary resources are available.
  • Assist in deriving requirements, ensuring traceability, and conducting performance verification.
  • Conduct system integration testing to validate compatibility and performance.
  • Document findings, create test reports, and present results to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware and software components into a unified system.
  • Support testing events at various locations.
Qualifications
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Secret/Top Secret clearance.
  • Degree in Systems, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 2+ years of experience with a BS/BA or 0+ years with an MS/MA.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with Jama for requirements and test management.
  • Ability to write scripts for test automation and data analysis.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile and Scrum.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations, including MIL-STD, MIL-HDBK, ISO, and ASME.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $90,000 to $105,000, with considerations for factors such as responsibilities, work experience, education, and key skills.

Additional Requirements
U.S. citizenship is necessary for position eligibility. Selected candidates will undergo a government security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information. A background check and successful completion of a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug test are required.
