Position Overview:

As a pivotal member of the Test Equipment Engineering (TEE) team, you will engage in a variety of engineering disciplines that are essential for systems design and testing across all Raytheon products. Our engineers are tasked with overseeing the entire development lifecycle of testing, which encompasses: test requirements, system design, flight simulations, hardware-in-the-loop, and advanced engineering prototyping technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivering cybersecurity compliance guidance for the production and procurement of test equipment.
  • Facilitating flight test capabilities and processes for missile systems.
  • Developing cybersecurity-compliant test equipment across various operating systems (Linux, IOS, Windows).
  • Managing installation, administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of both commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) and custom applications.
  • Configuring and maintaining computing systems within Computer in the Loop (CIL) and Software Evaluation Stations (SWES).
  • Troubleshooting production and development test equipment to ensure operational integrity and compliance.
  • Collaborating with Digital Technologies to integrate test equipment into controlled networks.
  • Working alongside Cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance using various tools.
  • Engaging with engineering teams to assess the impact of changes on test equipment availability and integrity.
  • Supporting all necessary reviews prior to implementing changes to test equipment.
Essential Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with two years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field.
  • Proficiency in systems administration for Linux, Networking, and/or Windows environments.
  • Experience in user account management and technical customer support.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • DoD m IAT II certified credentials (e.g., Sec+, CySA+).
  • Experience in a DoD Special Access Programs environment.
  • Strong expertise in Linux operating systems.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting skills for Microsoft Windows and Linux systems.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
