Position Overview:

As a key member of the Test Equipment Engineering (TEE) team, you will engage in a variety of engineering disciplines focused on the design and evaluation of systems associated with Raytheon products. Your role encompasses the entire development lifecycle of testing, including requirements gathering, system architecture, flight simulations, and advanced engineering prototypes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver guidance on Cybersecurity compliance for the production and acquisition of Test Equipment (TE).
  • Enhance Flight Test capabilities and methodologies within Raytheon.
  • Develop TE that meets Cybersecurity standards across various operating systems (Linux, IOS, Windows).
  • Oversee the installation, administration, and troubleshooting of both commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) and bespoke applications.
  • Manage the configuration and maintenance of Computing Systems within Computer in the Loop (CIL) environments.
  • Facilitate the installation and debugging of custom software for CIL and related systems.
  • Ensure the operational integrity of production and development TE through effective troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with Digital Technologies to integrate TE into secure networks.
  • Work closely with Cybersecurity teams to maintain TE compliance using industry-standard tools.
  • Partner with engineering teams to ensure system changes do not compromise test integrity.
  • Support necessary reviews prior to implementing changes to TE.
Required Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with two years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field.
  • Proficiency in systems administration for Linux, Networking, and Windows environments.
  • Experience in user account management and technical support.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Possession of DoD m IAT II certified credentials (e.g., Sec+, CySA+).
  • Experience in a DoD Special Access Programs environment.
  • Strong expertise in Linux operating systems.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting skills for Microsoft Windows and Linux systems.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a proven ability to resolve hardware/software issues independently.
