Position Overview
We are currently in search of a Systems Engineer who will enhance our scientific and engineering efforts. The selected candidate will be responsible for various facets of the systems engineering discipline, including the breakdown of requirements into software and hardware functions, as well as system integration and testing activities to ensure the fulfillment of system requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with development teams, production teams, program leadership, and customers to address technical considerations and resolve issues related to program capabilities.
  • Develop comprehensive test plans and procedures, ensuring the availability of all necessary equipment and resources.
  • Assist in the derivation of requirements, traceability, systems integration and testing, and performance verification.
  • Conduct system integration testing to verify compatibility and performance.
  • Document findings, generate test reports, and present results to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware and software components into a unified system.
  • Support testing events at various locations.
Qualifications
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret / Top Secret clearance.
  • Degree in Systems, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 2+ years of experience with a BS/BA or 0+ years with an MS/MA.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with Jama for Requirements and Test Management.
  • Ability to write scripts for test automation and data analysis.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools such as Agile and Scrum.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations, including MIL-STD, MIL-HDBK, ISO, and ASME.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $90,000 to $105,000, with consideration given to various factors including position responsibilities, work experience, education, and key skills.

Additional Requirements
U.S. citizenship is required for eligibility. Selected candidates will undergo a government security investigation and must meet the requirements for access to classified information. A criminal background check and successful passage of a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug test are also required.
