We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at One Medical. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care and support to patients of all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics.
- Collect and process specimens for laboratory testing, including venipuncture and other clinical support services.
- Assist with extended scope duties, such as non-blood specimen collection, EKGs/ECGs, vitals, ear lavages, vaccines, PPD tests, and swabs.
- Maintain high standards of in-office care through proper specimen labeling, handling, and processing, inventory upkeep, and tool sterilization.
- Provide excellent customer service and communication skills to patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Master our technology suite, including Slack, G-suite, Zoom, and our Electronic Medical Record System 1Life, to interact with team members and complete daily work.
- Active Medical Assistant certification from NHA, AAMA, NCCT, or the AMT.
- Graduated from an accredited postsecondary Medical Assistant program or completion of relevant Medical Assistant training by any branch of the armed forces.
- At least 6 months of relevant experience as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist outside of a training/externship environment.
- Proficiency in computer technology, including typing, navigating the internet, and using multiple software systems simultaneously.
- Experience working on collaborative, diverse, multi-disciplinary teams, with additional experience with remote teams a plus.
- Competitive hourly rate of $75 per hour based on a standard full-time schedule.

This is a full-time role (40 hrs/week) with shifts generally taking place between 8:00am-6:00pm based in our Darien, CT, New Canaan, CT, and Westport, CT offices.
Flex Lab Services Specialists lend support to multiple One Medical locations in a market and location and schedule are subject to change.
