Job Summary

As an Hourly Supervisor at Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., you will be responsible for leading a team of associates in a specific area of the store. Your primary goal will be to ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining a well-organized and efficient area, while also meeting sales and profitability targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring their needs are met and they have a positive shopping experience.
  • Area Maintenance: Regularly tour your area to ensure it meets our customer's expectations, and make adjustments as needed to maintain a clean and organized environment.
  • Team Leadership: Work closely with team associates to achieve sales and profitability goals, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Inventory Management: Use basic math skills to maintain accurate inventory levels, ensuring that stock is properly stocked and rotated.
  • Event Planning: Prepare and plan for upcoming events that will impact your area, such as sales promotions or in-store displays.
Requirements:
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with customers, team associates, and management.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and motivate a team of associates to achieve sales and profitability goals.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze problems and develop effective solutions.
  • Math Skills: Basic math skills to maintain accurate inventory levels.
