This role is integral to the operations at Navarro-ATL, which oversees the management and maintenance of essential laboratory facilities for the Department of Energy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the strategic planning and execution of both corrective and preventive maintenance tasks under general managerial guidance.
- Foster a positive, safety-oriented, and cooperative work atmosphere that aligns with Navarro-ATL's mission and values, emphasizing openness, trust, communication, teamwork, empowerment, innovation, and satisfaction.
- Implement Integrated Safety Management System (ISMS), Voluntary Protection Program (VPP), and Environmental Management System (EMS) responsibilities within designated areas.
- Provide leadership and oversight to ensure adherence to operational conduct, safety management program execution, and compliance during maintenance activities.
- Plan and execute multiple complex field operations, demonstrating a proven track record of successful schedule management.
- Ensure that maintenance work packages are technically sound and can be executed safely and efficiently.
- Address and resolve work and safety challenges to facilitate safe and effective field operations.
- Review and endorse technical maintenance procedures, ensuring field validation of these procedures.
- Communicate work scope and status during daily and weekly planning meetings.
- Resolve resource allocation and scheduling conflicts.
- Manage employee performance issues effectively, addressing concerns and resolving grievances as necessary.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 8 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience working with Bargaining Unit employees, familiarity with nuclear facilities, and knowledge of Collective Bargaining Agreements.
- Extensive experience in industrial machinery, equipment maintenance, and pipefitting/plumbing.

Compensation:
The annual salary range for this position is based on a full-time schedule.
