We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Shift Team Lead to join our team at Chicken Salad Chick. As a Shift Team Lead, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant during your shift.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serving Guests: Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, handling cash and credit transactions, and making drinks and desserts in a timely and respectful manner.
  • Team Management: Effectively manage and lead a team of employees to ensure excellent customer service and maintain our high operating standards.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain the cleanliness of your work area, the dining room, parking lot, restrooms, and playground.
  • Inventory Management: Restock sauces, cups, lids, and other supplies as needed to maintain a well-stocked environment.
  • Food Safety and Quality: Ensure that all food safety and quality standards are met, and maintain a clean and safe environment for our guests.
  • Shift Operations: Open and/or close the restaurant, leading the shift as a key holder, and ensure that all tasks are completed during your shift.

Requirements:

  • Leadership Skills: Possess strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team to achieve excellent results.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with employees, guests, and management.
  • Availability: Be available to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays, with the ability to adapt to changing schedules.
  • Experience: Have at least one year of previous restaurant management or leadership experience, with a proven track record of success.
  • Education: Possess a High School diploma or equivalent, with a strong emphasis on customer service and teamwork.
