Job Summary:
The Medical Assistant will provide administrative and clinical support to our healthcare team, ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Room patients and obtain laboratory/radiology/ER/hospital reports prior to provider seeing patient.
- Perform EKG and waived laboratory testing and enter results in EMR.
- Administer Injectable Medications with physician order.
- Complete medical forms and record release forms in EMR.
- Set-up and Clean-up patient examination rooms on daily basis.
- Maintain laboratory logs of patient testing.
- Assist the Provider and RN in facilitating patient flow.
- Maintain a respectful and professional attitude toward all staff and patients.
Qualifications:
- Diploma from a technical school and national certification from an accredited association.
- Valid CPR certification and Medical Assistant certification.
- Ability to speak, read, and write Spanish fluently.
