Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Medical Concierge Assistant to join our team at a concierge Internal Medicine practice in Midtown Manhattan.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing front desk operations, patient communications, and office management tasks while helping to grow the practice. As a key part of our concierge model, being respectful, personable, and maintaining a professional yet friendly demeanor with patients is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage front desk operations, including greeting patients warmly, answering phones, and scheduling appointments
  • Provide concierge-level patient support, ensuring inquiries are handled promptly and professionally
  • Oversee office management, including supply ordering, billing support, and vendor relations
  • Coordinate with healthcare providers and specialists to ensure seamless patient care
  • Organize and manage networking events to promote the practice
  • Assist in developing and implementing strategies to attract new patients and grow the practice
  • Maintain patient records with accuracy and confidentiality
  • Support physicians in day-to-day tasks, ensuring efficient practice operations
  • Familiarity with insurance eligibility and benefits

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a medical assistant, office manager, or equivalent role in a healthcare setting
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
  • Professional and personable demeanor with the ability to speak and engage with patients respectfully
  • Upbeat, positive, and proactive attitude; someone who takes initiative and is solution-oriented
  • Self-motivated, with a vested interest in helping the practice grow
  • Experience in organizing events and outreach initiatives
  • Reliable, punctual, and honest with strong attention to detail
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite
