We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant II to join our team at Medical Oncology Hematology Consultants. As a Medical Assistant II, you will provide clinical support to our physicians and patients, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform clinic support tasks, including miscellaneous clerical duties, answering phones, and maintaining physician schedules.
- Assist physicians and clinicians with patient care duties in a clinical environment.
- Escort patients to and from exam rooms, physician offices, and treatment rooms as needed.
- Record patient data prior to each physician visit, including vital signs, height, weight, allergies, and medication changes.
- Prepare and stock exam/treatment rooms and order supplies as needed.
- Maintain all exam/treatment room disinfection protocols.
- Perform other administrative duties, such as typing, filing, faxing, and reception, as requested by supervisor or physician.
Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Certificate of graduation from an accredited program for Medical Assistants preferred.
- Minimum three years experience as a medical assistant or nursing assistant.
- Phlebotomy experience preferred.
- Certified Medical Assistant preferred.
