Work Order Coordinator I Job Description

The first three letters in workplace safety are Y-O-U. At TK Elevator, we are seeking an experienced Work Order Coordinator I located in Atlanta, GA.

This position will manage client systems to ensure the timely and accurate creation, dissemination, and documentation of work orders against deadlines. The Work Order Coordinator I will support the effective response of branch operations to emergent issues and be vital to the time, resource, and cost accounting of work performed by field employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, verify, and disseminate work requests from customers through work order systems (portals, emails, phone calls)
  • Manage work orders, enter labor, contract, and materials charges against the work orders, and close work orders when complete with NTLL customers and other Local Customers
  • Maintain the integrity of the work order system data
  • Process confidential information
  • Maintain a complex filing system
  • Prioritize work to successfully meet the needs of internal and external customers
  • Develop processes relative to the work control system
  • Direct communication with branch employees regarding response times, work order updates, and job completion
  • Direct communication with dispatch centralized team regarding NTL and NTLL customers

Requirements:

  • HS Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • 0-2 years' experience with customer service and office administration necessary
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong computer skills
  • A cultivated attention to detail
  • Strong Microsoft Excel abilities
  • Experience with facilities management, preferred
  • Microsoft Office Suite Training/Experience, preferred
  • Customer Work Order Interface Experience, preferred
  • Personnel Dispatch Experience
