Position Overview

As a Cocktail Server, your primary responsibility will be to fulfill the needs of our business, guests, and colleagues by accurately taking food and beverage orders, retrieving, and serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and food items to guests' tables in accordance with hotel standards, all while maintaining a courteous and efficient demeanor.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of all menu offerings, including pricing, preparation methods, ingredients, and quality benchmarks for taste, appearance, texture, serving temperature, portion sizes, garnishes, and presentation techniques.
  • Strictly adhere to state liquor regulations, especially those concerning service to minors, intoxicated individuals, and drunk driving.
  • Proactively understand and anticipate guests' needs, responding promptly and acknowledging all guests, regardless of the time of day or busyness.
  • Maintain positive relationships with guests at all times.
  • Address guest complaints by following established procedures to ensure satisfaction.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of one year of experience in the foodservice or hospitality sector, preferably as a Bartender.
  • Strong knowledge of spirits, beer, and wine, with experience in a luxury hospitality environment preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Exhibit a superior professional appearance and demeanor, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, based on departmental needs.
  • Ability to obtain relevant state and local certifications, such as food handler's or alcohol training certifications, as required for the role.
  • Effective communication skills in English to interact with guests, management, and colleagues.
  • Capability to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Ability to navigate effectively within a restaurant setting.
