Position Summary

As a Cocktail Server, your primary responsibility will be to cater to the needs of our patrons and colleagues by efficiently taking and delivering food and beverage orders. This includes serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in accordance with hotel standards, ensuring a courteous and prompt service.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of all menu offerings, including pricing, preparation methods, ingredients, and quality standards regarding taste, appearance, and serving temperature.
  • Adhere strictly to state liquor laws, particularly those concerning service to minors and intoxicated individuals.
  • Anticipate and understand guests' needs, responding promptly and acknowledging all patrons regardless of the time of day.
  • Maintain positive relationships with guests at all times.
  • Address guest complaints following established procedures to ensure satisfaction.
Qualifications
  • Preferred one year of experience in the food and beverage industry, particularly as a Bartender.
  • Strong knowledge of spirits, beer, and wine, with experience in a luxury hospitality environment preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Exhibit a professional appearance and demeanor, demonstrating good character in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, based on departmental needs.
  • Ability to obtain necessary state and local certifications, such as food handling or alcohol service training.
  • Effective communication skills in English to interact with guests, management, and colleagues.
  • Capability to lift up to 30 lbs and navigate within a restaurant setting.
