Position Overview

As a Cocktail Server, your primary responsibility will be to cater to the needs of our guests and colleagues by efficiently taking and delivering food and beverage orders. You will ensure that all service meets the hotel's high standards.
  • Possess thorough knowledge of all menu offerings, including pricing, preparation methods, ingredients, and quality benchmarks for taste, appearance, and presentation.
  • Adhere strictly to state liquor laws, particularly those concerning service to minors and intoxicated individuals.
  • Proactively understand and anticipate guests' needs, ensuring prompt acknowledgment and service at all times.
  • Maintain positive relationships with guests consistently.
  • Address guest complaints in accordance with established procedures to ensure satisfaction.
Qualifications
  • Preferred one year of experience in the foodservice or hospitality sector, particularly as a Bartender.
  • Strong knowledge of spirits, beer, and wine, with experience in a luxury hospitality environment preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Exhibit a professional appearance and demeanor, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, based on departmental needs.
  • Ability to obtain necessary state and local certifications, such as food handler or alcohol training certifications, as required for the role.
  • Effective communication skills in English to interact with guests, management, and colleagues.
  • Capability to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Ability to navigate effectively within a restaurant setting.
