Position Summary
The Cocktail Server is responsible for delivering food and beverages with a focus on quality and professionalism, adhering to the esteemed standards of Forbes 5-star service. This role involves working in either the Element 47 dining area or the hotel’s living room spaces.

Key Responsibilities
• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of food and wine service
• Utilize suggestive selling techniques to enhance guest experience
• Participate in daily pre-meal tastings
• Greet all guests warmly and ensure a welcoming atmosphere
• Accurately take orders and serve food and beverages promptly, following established service protocols
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience
• Handle guest checks and payment processes efficiently
• Maintain proficiency in the Micros system for order management
• Prepare dining stations and tables prior to service
• Assist in clearing and resetting tables during service
• Ensure cleanliness and proper arrangement of tableware
• Complete assigned side duties to support service operations
• Uphold cleanliness standards for tableware and service areas
• Communicate guest feedback and concerns to management
• Foster positive relationships with fellow service staff
• Adhere to local liquor laws and ensure responsible service
• Maintain necessary tools for effective service
• Uphold the highest standards of service excellence in all operations.

Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience required
• Preferred 2 years of experience in fine dining settings
• Strong understanding of wines, food pairings, and culinary techniques.

Work Environment
This role requires the ability to stand, walk, and be on your feet for extended periods. The server will often work in various conditions, including wet and humid environments, and may need to navigate uneven surfaces. Physical demands include the ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
