About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Housekeeper to join our team at Sunrise Senior Living. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, secure, and inviting environment for our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Perform general housekeeping duties in resident suites, public areas, and support areas, ensuring that our facilities meet the highest standards of cleanliness and quality.
  • Collect, clean, and redistribute community laundry, maintaining a high level of hygiene and organization.
  • Assist Care Managers and Department Coordinators with resident care, providing support and assistance as needed.
  • Partner with our community team to ensure compliance with OSHA requirements and promote Risk Management programs and policies, adhering to safety rules and regulations at all times.
  • Practice safety procedures, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), fire extinguishers, MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets), and Lockout Tagout procedures.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • Able to provide housekeeping and laundry services in a resident-centered environment, meeting or exceeding Sunrise quality standards.
  • Desire to work with seniors and ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication, as well as organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work semi-independently without direct supervision, following all community procedures and guidelines.
