Job Summary

The Dignity Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Housekeeper Sr to provide excellent cleaning services to an assigned area using standard operating procedures. This role is critical to the success of Mercy Gilbert Medical Center and requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Dignity Health.

Responsibilities

  • Provides day-to-day operations leadership and support to employees of the Environmental Services Department.
  • Ensures that all cleaning services are provided in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Develops and implements cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure a clean and safe environment for patients, families, and hospital visitors.
  • Collaborates with other departments to ensure that cleaning services are integrated with other hospital operations.
  • Monitors and reports any issues or concerns related to cleaning services.

Requirements

  • Three (3) years experience in institutional housekeeping.
  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English.
