As a resident care specialist, your primary role will involve delivering direct care and emotional support to each resident while ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.

While prior experience is preferred, we are open to training candidates who are eager to make a positive impact in the lives of seniors.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring a designated group of residents throughout your shift, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Observing, documenting, and reporting any changes in residents' conditions, including physical and behavioral aspects.
  • Responding promptly to security alerts and resident call signals, and informing supervisors of any increased care requirements.
  • Assisting with continence management and maintaining sanitation standards in resident suites and communal restrooms.
  • Serving meals and assisting residents as needed, while noting any refusals or changes in appetite.
  • Helping residents during emergency situations, ensuring their safety.
  • Managing residents' laundry as assigned and maintaining cleanliness in their living spaces.
  • Practicing hygiene and health standards diligently.
  • Supporting residents in their daily activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
  • Engaging residents in meaningful activities that promote their well-being.
  • Welcoming and assisting visitors, family members, and team members as necessary.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned by management.

While we encourage ongoing learning and development, there are essential qualifications for this position, including:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Nurse's Aide certification is a plus.
  • Must be at least 18 years old and complete a background check.
