Job Summary

Arcadia at Limerick Pointe is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our community and grounds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilities Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance duties, including fixing wall and floor coverings, repairing furniture and fixtures, performing basic plumbing work, and minor electrical repairs.
  • System Maintenance: Work under the supervision of the Facilities Director to maintain heating and air conditioning systems, domestic water systems, and pumps, refrigeration systems, motors, fans, electrical systems, and emergency generators.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Perform carpet and hard surface floor maintenance, deep cleaning, and resident apartment 'flips.'
  • Communication: Communicate with the Facilities Director for technical advice, product information, research, and quality assurance guidance.
  • Tool Maintenance: Maintain all tools and repair parts.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or GED.
  • Experience: One (1) year maintenance and/or housekeeping experience preferred.
  • Skills: Basic technical knowledge (such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and code compliance) and mechanical ability to perform routine maintenance and repair on mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Knowledge: General understanding of OSHA, fire prevention, and life & safety regulations.
