Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated counselor to provide guidance and support for clients in a part-time capacity. Your role will involve assisting clients in developing coping strategies to navigate challenging situations. Key responsibilities include actively listening to clients, posing relevant questions, and formulating effective plans to enhance their well-being.

Strong verbal and written communication skills are crucial, along with the ability to collaborate with support networks and community resources involved with your clients. The ideal candidate will possess a friendly demeanor and professional attitude, complemented by exceptional interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate clients through comprehensive discussions, interviews, and observations to ascertain the necessary assessments or evaluations.
  • Identify and diagnose mental and emotional disorders in patients.
  • Develop impactful treatment plans that encompass counseling, medication, or additional services.
  • Collaborate with patients to establish personal goals.
  • Regularly review the treatment plan with patients to identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide education on effective coping strategies to assist clients during difficult times.
  • Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as required.
Qualifications:
  • Valid Professional Counseling License.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Capacity to empathize with clients and facilitate open communication.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in creating effective treatment plans.
