Job Summary

Isaiah House is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join our team in Lexington, KY. As an APRN, you will play a critical role in providing medical care and support to individuals struggling with substance use disorders.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience as an APRN and a strong background in addiction medicine. You will be responsible for assessing new intakes, prescribing treatment for withdrawal management, and managing chronic medical issues.

As a member of our clinical team, you will work closely with our staff and clients to provide education and support. You will also be responsible for maintaining relationships with local pharmacies, medical/dental care providers, and medical facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessment of new intakes to determine medical conditions that may impact recovery
  • Prescribing treatment for withdrawal management
  • Management of chronic medical issues
  • Assessment and treatment of acute illnesses or injuries
  • Collaboration with the clinical team for medical intervention for mental/emotional health diagnosis
  • Education of clients and staff regarding disease processes and self-management of chronic conditions

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Nursing and current APRN licensure
  • 2 years of experience as an APRN
  • Strong background in addiction medicine
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
