Job Summary

The Assistant Community Director is a key member of the FPI Management, Inc. team, responsible for assisting the Community Director in the day-to-day operations of the property. This role requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relations: Carry out the philosophies and wishes of the Owner in the daily overall operations of the apartment community to ensure FPI is meeting the Client objective and expectations.
  • Communication: Maintain positive, professional and effective communication with applicants, residents, vendors, clients and guests while representing FPI.
  • Employee Management: Operate the property in the absence of the Community Director, responsible for training and onboarding of new leasing team members.
  • Leasing/Occupancy: Maintain occupancy levels as established by owner/budget expectations, exhibit professional leasing techniques, and assist with the completion of the monthly Market Surveys and analysis.
  • Revenue Management: Assists the Community Director in maximizing revenue potential of the property through the management of lease expirations and timely turnover, assists with the management of monthly rent collections and delinquency to include timely deposit and security of funds according to FPI policies.
  • Reporting and Document Management: Maintain appropriate resident files including forms, leases, documents in accordance with FPI Standard Operating Procedures, responsible for the daily integrity and confidentiality of resident files.
  • Risk Management: Ensure compliance of Risk Management items through the following of the FPI Standard Operating Procedures, reports timely any/all injuries, illnesses, property damage through the proper reporting channels and forms.
  • Facility Maintenance: Assist residents with reporting of maintenance needs, document facility and maintenance needs and ensure timely completion, ongoing monitoring of the physical asset and identifying concerns with immediate supervisor.
  • Other: Consistently and fairly enforce community rules and regulations, FPI Standard Operating Procedures, comply with all Fair Housing Laws and FPI policies and procedures, promote a professional image by adhering to FPI Management's Dress Code Policy.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a degree in a related field preferred.
