Key Responsibilities- Clerical Functions: Perform a variety of administrative tasks that support the overall Imaging Center, including data entry, scheduling, and insurance/authorization processing.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent in-person and phone service to a high volume of patients, ensuring a positive experience and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Ensure the accuracy of patient demographic information, scheduling information, and insurance/authorization information.
- Performance Metrics: Meet performance metrics, focusing on quality, accuracy, and timeliness.
- Conflict Resolution: De-escalate conflict situations and know when to engage assistance from department supervisors.
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of medical office experience, radiology preferred.
- Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, proficiency in computer skills, multi-tasking, and working with several software programs at the same time.
- Professionalism: Demonstrate a professional demeanor in appearance and behavior in all work-related interactions.
