Overview

This position is essential for ensuring precise and prompt documentation that adheres to policies, as well as for investigating and implementing corrective measures regarding incidents within the Clinical and Recovery Services divisions at LiveOnNY. The primary aim is to enhance the processes of organ and tissue donation and transplantation across the organization's Donor Service Area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinating occurrence processes in alignment with policies and standards across various departments
  • Conducting thorough investigations, root cause analyses, and implementing corrective actions
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to identify and resolve barriers
  • Engaging in audits and surveys to ensure compliance
  • Overseeing Clinical Review of Missed Referrals
  • Spotting opportunities for process enhancements
  • Performing additional duties as required

Qualifications

Required:

Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience or 5 years as a Transplant Coordinator
At least 1 year of experience in Performance or Process Improvement

Preferred:

A degree in Healthcare Management, Healthcare Administration, or Informatics
2 years of experience in conducting clinical data reviews
2 years of experience with Process Improvement methodologies
