Quality Improvement Specialist

The Quality Improvement Coordinator will be responsible for managing the collection and submission of incident management documentation, monitoring compliance through audits of training documents and plans of corrective action. This role will ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and guidelines. The Coordinator will work under the supervision of the Director for NYC Quality Assurance, tracking and gathering incident management and audit documentation, and auditing training compliance and plans of corrective action.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct audits and reviews of training documents and plans of corrective action
Gather and submit incident management documentation
Monitor compliance with state and federal regulations and guidelines
Assist in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives
Collaborate with program staff to ensure compliance with quality standards
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Human Services, or a related field
At least 2 years' experience working with child welfare and/or juvenile justice programs
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and analytical skills
Work Environment:
This is a hybrid remote position with flexible hours. The Quality Improvement Coordinator will work from home or one of our main administrative offices, with regular travel to program locations in Queens, Brooklyn, and Staten Island.
