Job Overview

Inomedic Health Applications, Inc. (IHA) is in search of a skilled Patient Intake Coordinator. This role is pivotal in ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere for all patients, visitors, and healthcare personnel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guide patients in filling out necessary intake forms and case histories, ensuring all documentation is accurately completed.
  • Safeguard all medical records and sensitive information in line with established protocols.
  • Assist patients in navigating through various services to maintain an efficient clinic workflow.
  • Accompany patients throughout their testing procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with the Clinic Flow Coordinator to relay essential information for operational decision-making.
  • Provide administrative assistance to healthcare providers and Occupational Medical Services as required.
  • Conduct quality assurance audits on all documentation for precision and completeness post-service.
  • Input data for the electronic Record of Visit (ROV) system.
  • Finalize paperwork as patients conclude their visit.
  • Establish and manage a duplicate medical chart filing system at the satellite location.
  • Develop and maintain a DOE audited HRP chart system at the satellite facility.
  • Ensure patient confidentiality in accordance with IHA Privacy Practices and HIPAA regulations.
  • Review end-of-day ROV audit reports on a daily basis.
  • Support case management and provider staff in coordinating special requests.
  • Oversee front desk organization and manage supply inventory across both facilities.
  • Handle multi-line phone systems, addressing routine inquiries and directing calls as necessary.
  • Act as a liaison with medical schedulers to assist clients with follow-up appointments and resolve scheduling conflicts.
  • Execute daily closing procedures for the front desk, ensuring the security of all confidential information and proper facility closure.
Work Environment:

This position operates within a clinical setting that may require occasional bending, stooping, stretching, kneeling, standing, and lifting. The responsibilities outlined in this description are not exhaustive, and additional tasks may be assigned by management as needed.
