Position Overview:
Clinical Nurse
Specialties: Medical-Surgical (Acute Care/Oncology)

Key Responsibilities:
The Clinical Nurse will undertake the following duties:
  1. Patient Assessment and Care Planning : Evaluating patient health requirements, formulating care strategies, and ensuring collaborative objectives are achieved. Responding effectively to health status fluctuations and executing designated responsibilities.
  2. Documentation and Regulatory Compliance : Upholding patient confidentiality while adhering to safety standards and legal regulations (e.g., medication protocols, discharge processes, hazardous waste management).
  3. Holistic Patient Care : Addressing the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients and their families. Prioritizing responsibilities and adjusting care plans as necessary.
  4. Clinical Interventions : Conducting a variety of clinical tasks including evaluations, intravenous insertions, line management (e.g., PICC lines), medication delivery (including IV), wound management, specimen collection, tracheostomy assistance, ventilator management, suctioning, tube feeding, and aiding with urinary and bowel elimination tasks.
  5. Patient Education and Support : Instructing patients and families regarding health issues, medications, and procedures. Offering clinical guidance to Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Nursing Assistants, and Health Technicians.
The Clinical Nurse role encompasses comprehensive clinical management, adherence to regulations, and proactive patient care within their professional scope.

Qualifications:
BLS certification is mandatory.
ACLS Certification is essential for agency personnel working in acute care, medical-surgical, or critical care environments.
A minimum of one (1) year of experience in the relevant specialty area is required.
The contractor must provide evidence of current licenses and certifications.
Relevant experience should be within the last three years.
