Medical Laboratory Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our team at Wooster Community Hospital. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of laboratory tests and procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases.
Main Responsibilities:
- Collect, process, and analyze patient samples using various techniques and instrumentation.
- Perform routine and complex laboratory tests, including blood and urine analysis.
- Interpret test results and communicate findings to healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with other laboratory staff to ensure efficient and accurate testing.
- Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure laboratory accuracy and reliability.
Requirements:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field.
- Board certification or eligibility from a recognized professional organization.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
