Job Summary

We are seeking an Administrative Coordinator to join Serenity Funeral Home & Pet Crematory. The successful candidate will perform a variety of administrative tasks to support the funeral home's operations.

The primary responsibilities of this role include:

  • Greeting and assisting onsite guests with professionalism and courtesy
  • Answering inbound telephone calls in a timely and courteous manner
  • Developing and implementing organized filing systems to ensure efficient data retrieval
  • Assisting funeral directors with data entry and other administrative tasks
  • Performing all other office tasks as required

Requirements

  • A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in office administration or a related field
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with clients and colleagues in a professional manner
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and files
  • Own transportation and a valid driver's license (if applicable)
  • Professional attire and a clean, well-groomed appearance at all times
  • Ability to accept direction and work collaboratively with others as part of a team

Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this role is $45,000 - $55,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits may include health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development.
