About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Architectural Consultant to join our team at Assa Abloy Americas. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting our access solutions to architectural firms, general contractors, and other design professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cultivate strong relationships with architectural design teams, contractors, developers, and specifiers to drive demand for our products.
  • Identify and secure opportunities to prepare door and hardware specifications for commercial projects.
  • Provide timely and accurate product information for use in commercial project specifications.
  • Deliver targeted continuing educational programs highlighting new products, solutions, and design-assist professional services.
  • Assist with product substitution and approval procedures and follow up to ensure specifications are held in the bid process.
  • Utilize our customer relationship, project tracking, and time management tool to manage your work efficiently.
Requirements
  • A College/University degree in a related field such as architectural design/engineering/drafting, construction science/management, business, or similar.
  • Industry-related experience in architectural representation, specification writing, or construction management will be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Self-motivated, organized individual with a passion for brand-specific product promotion and specification.
  • Strong follow-up habits and driven to satisfy client needs and deliver above expectations.
  • Strong communication, active listening, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Working knowledge of Autodesk Revit or GRAPHISOFT Archicad is a plus.
  • Ability to travel upon request within an assigned territory and perform responsibilities in a home office environment.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs of sample and display material for sale presentations.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $95,000, a comprehensive benefits package, and the opportunity to work with a global leader in access solutions.
