About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Planning Specialist to join our team at HNTB. As an Environmental Planning Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing environmental support from concept development through project completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Environmental Support: Provide environmental support from concept development through project completion, including researching, gathering, and analyzing data, preparing project materials, and applying environmental law and policy to ensure compliance on behalf of the client.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze data associated with multi-disciplines and propose technical solutions, collect raw data, organize, research, and apply recognized tools of analysis to provide comprehensive review of the data.
  • Project Materials: Prepare graphics and reports for limited portions of a project or for small-scale projects, assist in the creation and presentation of project presentation materials, concepts, graphics, and reports to the client and community groups.
  • Project Coordination: May attend project team meetings with limited client interaction and other project consultants, responsible for documenting meeting minutes, correspondences, and other forms related to projects within scope.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Landscape Architecture, Planning, Environmental Planning, Urban Design, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced Education: Master's Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
