We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Lifeguard to join our team at Poway Unified School District. As a Senior Lifeguard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of students and staff during water-based activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and monitor students and staff during swimming and water-based activities
  • Enforce safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries
  • Provide emergency care and respond to aquatic emergencies
  • Collaborate with Physical Education and Swim Instructor staff to develop and implement water-based programs
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and maintain a safe and clean aquatic environment

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Current lifeguard certification (CPR/AED and First Aid)
  • Experience working with children and adults in a water-based setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Salary and Benefits:

$29.17 per hour
